Sessions
We run two three-hour sessions a day, five days a week during term time for children aged 2 years 6 months to school age.
Our morning sessions run between
9 am – 12:00 Noon
The afternoon sessions run between
12:00 Noon – 3 pm
We also offer whole day sessions which run from 9am – 3:00pm.
We ask that all children attend a minimum of 3 sessions a week.
Children attending in the morning session bring in a healthy snack from home to enjoy during our snack time. Children attending all day or for just the afternoon session bring in a packed lunch from home.
All children bring in a named water bottle which they can access through the session as they require and they will be offered milk or water to drink with their snack.
Chocolates, sweets, nuts and foods that contain nuts are not permitted at Busy Fingers.
Fees
All 3 to 4-year-olds can get 15 hours childcare a week for 38 weeks of the year and some are eligible for 30 hours free childcare a week.
Some 2 year olds are also eligible for free childcare and this is expanding in April 2024.
We charge £6.30 per hour for children who are do not yet qualify for government funding and for any hours in addition to entitlement. We also ask for a voluntary contribution of £2.50 per week per child.
We are also signed up to the Tax-Free Childcare scheme, which can save you money on childcare fees if you are eligible.
